ブラザーズ・ムラサキとは？
東京在住の二人のアメリカ人、ビリー・フォックスとクリスチャン・ネィグルにより結成。
シャーマニズムとジャパニーズウイスキー、それから罪に対する情熱を共有する二人は、いつも以心伝心。
ビリー：映画や音楽に精通した、センス抜群な男。脚本家として、数々の映画賞を受賞した『Delhi in a Day』、ハートウォーミングな連続殺人映画『All God's Creatures』、ヒップホップなホラー作品『Rhyme Animal』などを手掛ける。国から助成金を受けて研究やプロジェクトに取り組んだ経験も豊富で、その数は愛用のGジャンについたワッペンよりも多い。マグマよりもアツい脚本家として人気が高く、期待の新人からアカデミー賞ノミネート者、さらにエミー賞の受賞者まで、数多くの脚本家のアドバイザーとしてひっぱりだこだ。
クリスチャン：アメリカのルーツ・ミュージックの英雄たちのライブビデオを制作するなど、インディーズ界で長年に渡り活躍。制作に携わったミュージシャンは、グラミー賞受賞者のJim Lauderdale、Wayne ToupsやThe Travelin' McCourys、そしてテネシー州のレジェンドCody Brooksなど。さらにクリスチャンは文学界の秀才でもある。ピューリッツァー賞を三度にわたり受賞したEdward Albeeがプロデュースした舞台作品を手掛けたり、さらには Esquire、AGNI、Raritan、The Paris Review など、世界の名だたる雑誌に記事を刊行した経験がある。
The Brothers Murasaki are Tokyo ex-pats Billy Fox and Christian Nagle. Theirs is a telepathy forged in the fires of shamanistic ritual, Japanese whiskey and sin.
Billy: polymath badass of film and music arts, whose writing credits include the award-winning feature Delhi in a Day, feel-good serial killer flick All God’s Creatures, and hip-hop horror Rhyme Animal. Received more national grants than he has patches on that denim jacket. Highly sought after for his hotter-than-habañero script acumen, Billy critiques scripts written by the best – from rising stars to Academy Award nominees and Emmy winners.
Christian: spent years in the indie trenches, producing live videos of American roots music heroes, including Grammy winners like Jim Lauderdale, Wayne Toups, and The Travelin' McCourys, and Tennessee legend-in-his-prime Cody Brooks. He's also a literary superhero, with stage work produced by triple Pulitzer god Edward Albee and a hundred publications in the world’s most exclusive magazines, including Esquire, AGNI, Raritan, and The Paris Review.
